In 2013 INEOS, a global manufacturer of petrochemicals, speciality chemicals and oil products, with their headquarters in Rolle, became an official club sponsor.
As part of their focus providing support to the local community, they are particularly interested in supporting youth sports available to everyone, where many children are able to benefit. They have generously provided funds for training costs and equipment.
We are proud to be associated with a company such as INEOS, one which has a record of supporting local initiatives.
In 2012 The Crowne Plaza Geneva became an official club sponsor. They generously provided funds to help pay for our planned outdoor training nets, and have graciously offered room/nights for our visiting coaches and event rooms for our committee meetings.
The Crowne Plaza Geneva have also donated prizes for our 2009 and 2010 Tournament Raffles. The lucky winners received a voucher for a scrumptious Family Brunch for a family of 2 adults and 2 children one Sunday lunch time in the Le Jardin restaurant, including wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee.
The Grand Hotel Eden have donated the 1st Prize in our
Tournament Raffle for the second year running. Our raffle helps us buy
important equipment to continue to improve the coaching and training facilities
for the club. With prizes like these more people are encouraged to buy the
raffle ticket, which last year allowed us to buy a bowling machine and lots of
cricket gear for our now 80+ membership.
HealthFirst provided the First Aid course required for the next group of wannabe Gingins CC ECB certified Level 1 Cricket Coaches. The course was a combination of the "Basic Life Support And Automated External Defibrillation" course with a customized "First Aid for Cricket Coaches". After following this course the Gingins Cricket Club parents can be assured that their children will be in very safe hands during Training sessions and at matches.
